The Centenary of the death of

Fr Francis Jordan,

the Founder of the Salvatorians

Jesus taught us to pray for vocations. He said, "The harvest is abundant but the laborers are few; so ask the master of the harvest to send out laborers for his harvest, "(Matthew 9: 37-38).

Please pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. May our Lord Jesus Christ continue to inspire many dedicated Christians to imitate Him by offering the gift of themselves in loving service to God in the Church as priests, religious and lay volunteers.

Soon it will be a hundred years since Father Francis Jordan returned to the Heavenly Father. It is therefore a long time that he left the world of humans and of the Society he founded with a goal in the heart of the Universal Church: to make known and loved the only true God and the One he sent, His Son, Jesus Christ , the Savior of the world. From a distance of a hundred years, there is no doubt that this goal and this spirit are still up-to-date within the Church and the world of today, and should be kept alive.
