Grief Ministry

Journeying Through Grief is a Christ-centered ministry, whose purpose is to reach out to those in mourning and offer them comfort and help. This includes anyone experiencing a significant loss, whether it is the loss of a loved one or a friend. It is based on a program of the Archidiocese of Saint Louis whose Mission Statement says it best: 'To provide a safe and supportive experience enabling each person to begin to transform her/his life from a time of mourning to a time of healing.'  The four week sessions are held twice a year, in March and October. Registration is recommended. It is open to anyone in mourning, regardless of when the loss occurred, whether recently or in the past. Monthly meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month. The progam is not limited to SEAS parishioners. Guests are welcome.

The obligation to attend Sunday Mass remains dispensed until further notice. ******* OCTOBER DEVOTIONS, ROSARY AND LITANY - There is a plenary indulgence for recitation of these in Church, family or pious association.
