The parish Prayer Group meets fortnightly (see parish newsletter for dates) on Monday evenings at 7.30 in the Michael room.
Our main purpose is to deepen our relationship with Our Lord through reading, listening and reflecting on scripture and praying together.
We start with an opening prayer, then offering praise to God, then we enter into time of silence. Having a bible with you is helpful.
After 15mins there is a time to share any thoughts or words from scripture.
There is then a time of discernment .
We then have intercessory prayer for the parish, personal intentions, the Church and for the world.
When asked for prayer ministry is available.
The evening concludes at 9pm.
